Can you find all the eggs?

It was Easter of 2022, when in meditation I received the message. It was time to begin a series of light-art featuring chakras (energy centers within the human body). We are energy bodies more than we are physical bodies. The physical without energy is a body in permanent vegetative state. An energy body continues to exist regardless of a physical body.

In the physical reality, we begin as fertilized eggs, but at a certain point, those eggs are brought to consciousness through an energy that science has yet to name, but we know as spirit, creator, God, higher power and other names. Life energy enters the medulla oblongata at the top of the spine and lower cranium. It travels down the spine energizing our nervous system and settles at the bottom of the sacrum or root chakra.

Here, the energy sits until death or until we purposefully send it up the spine through the other chakras. Our purpose through multiple lives is to learn to control the energy in your body – directing it and choosing what to do with it This is the potential of the unused nervous system and what a yogi practices in meditation.

To use this potential requires we become AWARE we are primarily energy bodies. This moment when we become aware we are more than the physical in each new life is referred as a spiritual or kundalini awakening. Christians refer to this awakening as “born again” and see Jesus Christ as a symbol of God accepted as the one true God. The egg is an Easter symbol of this resurrection.

Hindu also celebrate Easter for the resurrection of Christ. A Hindu Yogi see’s Christ as an example of the ultimate in human potential awareness. They see his rising from death as an epic example of how humans can raise the energy from dormancy up the spine, to the brow and control life, death, healing, and other miracles or powers. We have these powers (Siddhe’s in Sanskrit) because we are made in the image of God, like a water drop is part of the ocean or part of the yolk within the egg.

Major Arcana Tarot cards also recognize the egg as the birth of new beginnings, new life, new cycle, new consciousness. The first card, “The Fool” is numbered 0 for the beginning of the journey unknown, a mystery yet to be revealed, or the precipice of a new adventure or potential. The cards continue through 21 highlighting the repeating and same cycles of learning we must all go through. With every success or failure, we learn and try and try again, evolving despite ourselves. Whether we try or not, whether we are aware or not, we evolve.

This spiritual journey through many lives expands towards enlightenment or awareness propelling us towards a more conscious blissful existence over billions of years and lives. We evolve naturally through the infinite as part of the universe. But a Yogi, or one who yokes or ties himself permanently to a life of focus on God through yoga, consciously increases the rate of this expansion through meditation. Through this choice of lifestyle, one may quickly, in one life or a few, evolve into a new type of human- a HUE man or one of vibrational color and light – like Jesus. This is called Christ consciousness or thinking in the way as Christ and other saints do.

One could also envision our “hue” man head like an egg. The egg glows within the brow or third eye while in meditation. This reflects life at the medulla oblongata projected at the brow. While meditating at the brow we see through this light the reality of the world projected from consciousness. One’s auric energy or life energy flowing up the spine creates a glowing or halo effect seen in historic icon paintings.

Finally, the egg has been used as a metaphor in recent gaming slang for revealing mysteries in levels. We know when we have found an egg, it holds treasure, a prize or life inside that is good for sustenance. This golden treasure yolk is a mystery we nurture with love, light and attention until it opens and reveals the miracle of life inside.

Meditation:

Imagine, sense and feel that you within an egg surrounded in golden light safe and peaceful.

Now imagine that egg expands to include you family and close friends. You are all safe and peaceful.

Enlarge the egg to fit your country and imagine all that is within this egg aglow with light, safe, calm, peaceful, comfortable with one another.

Finally, enlarge the egg to hold the cosmos, solar system as well.

Now imagine that this is a special Easter egg decorated for the occasion to celebrate new life. It has a hole in the egg to spy into. You look into the hole and see a whole universe alive with energy glittering in crystal manifestation. It hums a vibration of sound soothing for the soul. All within are part of universe full of giving, sharing, peace and compassion. All life within is beautiful and glows through the egg a rainbow of colors.

Inhale the colors, vibrations and feelings of calmness.

Exhale this peace throughout the world you live in.

Inhale peace,

exhale it to the life you live,

inhale one more time and exhale what you want the world around you to be.

Now walk about your day and see the beauty of the world you helped create all around you in people, nature, and things.

What is a Deity?

Deities, like the characters in parables, teach a spiritual lesson. Found in Ancient Sacred Hindu Texts, the Deities are all “God “wearing different faces, names, and personalities.

“God” is such a big and all-consuming concept. How is one supposed to wrap one’s mind on any one part? God is made more personal and relatable as these Deities fill poems, music, chants and texts with their epic adventures and antics. Endless plots and twists, explain creation, good and evil, evolution through yoga and more.

Because we are made in the image of God, we share the same aspects to deities. In getting to know them we learn about the power we hold within. Then, instead of praying to God for help, we are able to help ourselves by invoking an aspect of God in form of Deity. Healing, courage, abundance, and wisdom are superpower attributes waiting to be called upon.

Hanuman is one of the main characters in the Ramayana – one of 2 most important ancient Sanskrit texts. Rama, in the role of God, journeys through his creation. Hanuman, is the son of the wind God in the form of half-monkey, half-man.

Sanskrit for Hanuman means broken jaw. Hanuman is one who literally transformed his body and mind to unite with God. Transforming mind and body through concentrated efforts, devotion, and a moral compass transforms spirit.

The opposite of Hanuman is monkey mind. Monkey mind is often referenced in Hindu as an undisciplined, animalistic, and busy mind. Yoga provides a guide for living to overcome these challenges through meditation resulting in ever expanding, ever conscious bliss. Every aspect of yoga requires the strength, breath, devotion, and courage of Hanuman.

As a young child my father endearingly nicknamed me monkey face. Unbeknownst to him, he nicknamed me with the symbol of an undisciplined mind. What a great starting point to begin my own epic saga about a spiritual journey from Money Face to Hanuman.

1 - The Magician - Choosing a Spiritual Branch

We all carry our own magic wand that it our spine in which the energy to create our body and life journey presides. We are the magician that need only be trained in the right school for energy connection and use. The wand is honed from the tree of life, and many branches will take us back to the source of that energy – we need only choose.

A children's book called “Holes” by Stanley Yelnats, features a boy that digs endless shallow holes to find treasure. He digs holes without a plan to carefully investigate where to find treasure. If he did the research, he could then methodically and thoughtfully with focus dig one hole very deep until treasure is found. It’s the perfect analogy for a spiritual journey.

Initial investigation is shallow, even when many books have been read. This is because true spiritual presence must be experienced, not just read about. Research is important preparation to make sure of the path that most suits your instincts for the type of individuals and practice you may turn to for support, learning, inspiration and who encourages your best instincts as a human being. The right branch will bring out your highest self.

Another book called “Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism” by Chögyam Trungpa, warns against a permanent state of shopping around and experimenting with every branch of religion and spirituality. One’s time is limited on Earth and to dig deep into the subject, methods and experience require daily practice. One may become knowledgeable about all the food in the grocery store but not know how to apply it to make delicious feasts without guidance, recipes and practice. To become a Master Chef, one must learn the craft and science behind food till one no longer needs recipes and can create instinctively.

So do your research and choose a branch and then further study the many limbs of philosophy and teachers that exist within that branch until you fall in love with the method you will choose to use for your life. Keep in mind that one learns about enlightenment from one who is already enlightened so be sure to choose a limb connected to a saint, guru, or advanced soul that you accept to be your teacher. When the student is ready, a teacher appears. Be conscious of signs or higher messages from one whom would like to be your teacher. Perhaps they will present themselves in a book, movie or discussion. Then plant your personal tree of life spiritual journey seed, water it daily with devotional attention and watch it grow from the light you shine upon your path.

All highest order spiritual branches have instructions for a ladder to the divine. In yoga, one climbs up the tree via 8 limbs:

Limbs 1 & 2 are the Yamas and Nyama’s of life- things to avoid doing and things to do. Following these suggestions creates a smoother path for living with less suffering, more joy, peace and ease in the direction of higher consciousness. Once one is living by standards paving the way for one’s journey easier, energy begins to flow.
The third limb, Asana, is knowing the correct posture for receiving and projecting energy while practicing and walking through life.
When it flows, due to right living and posture, you begin practicing how to use and direct this energy...

through Pranayama , the fourth limb, or the breath of life.

The fifth limb, Pratyahara , is an intense focus and discipline while practicing using and moving energy.
Finally, the last 3 steps, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi are hard to separate. This is a magical moment when you can feel the outer world becoming less dominant and your inner world is all the focus. Your energy moves away from the physical plain to the spiritual plain. All time and space disappear, and one becomes united with the highest self and an ever expanding, ever conscious, blissful universe.

While you may not be on the yoga path, your journey should also have a path towards a personal connection with this bliss within and suggestions for “right” living to arrive at this peaceful place more quickly and easily.

It is the time of night just before dawn in the most still hours. There is a feeling of anticipation and hope for what is to come. You feel an impending life change. You may have seen a sign in nature like a butterfly or maybe the stag in this image is your message that the time is now.

You are ready to make the aware choice to begin your spiritual journey. You have always been on the path, but now the goals you have previously sought are unsatisfying. You have exhausted all variations of the physical world to find happiness and peace and have narrowed it down to what does NOT bring this. You have a growing awareness of what brings disruptive emotions and are interested in learning how to maintain peace and have more. You seek meaning in life and giving to friends, family, community and world.

You begin to ask, "Is there more to life?", "Why am I here?", "Am I more than a body that sleeps, eats, and reproduces?". "If I am more, what animates me and makes me unique?", "If matter is never destroyed upon death, but merely transforms...what does it transform into?"

The many ways to explore what is beyond our physical senses is called a "spiritual" path. A spiritual path heightens our abilities and senses but must not be confused with the path itself. The path is about exploring the cause of all abilities, senses, bodies, ideas, life, death and everything in between.

This series is about the "Cause" of all - creator, God, Goddess, or Universal Consciousness...that of 1000 names and the sum of all or the macro.

Imagine the world in the MACRO as cosmos holding multiple universes.

A universe that holds galaxies,

a galaxy holding a planetary system around a star -

then earth,

country,

community,

family,

then, finally-self.

In the micro world, inside the "self", we are made of cells, atoms, DNA...

The macro world is composed of the micro, essentially making both the micro and the macro the same elements.

You may have heard we are made of star dust,

and at a micro level - we really are.

All atoms have the DNA information to hold the form of whatever matter they appear as. When the form is ready to disperse, the atoms disassemble but the EXPERIENTIAL information remains. In a sense, cosmos is one organism in varying forms experiencing "self" in many ways.

There is a story...

A group of blind people were led to a portion of an elephant and asked to describe it based on the one area they had access to. No one person was able to describe the elephant as a whole. When they changed places, they began to understand the whole of what "elephant" meant physically, emotionally and mentally.

For some, it took more time because their minds would wander, thinking of things to do or troubles they had.

Those who stayed focused on the task understood "elephant" the quickest.

You are the one investigating the macro or creator or "the elephant" and also the reverse at the same time...the creator investigating itself through you at a micro level. It's all the same - just from different perspectives and states of awareness.

That is the spiritual path...becoming aware of the whole of creation and our place in creation in the macro and the micro.

In the Hindu Deity Pantheon, Ganesh is the elephant Deity stomping out distractions or obstacles keeping us from evolving. Deities represent an aspect of "God or Goddess", "The Cause of it All", "The Creator", "Highest Intelligence" or whatever name you would like to call "it".

Or in other words, if you had your hand on one part of the elephant at a time, trying to identify the whole, each of the deities is one place your hand. The whole is simply too vast to explain in any one language, one name, or one description. Lifetimes are needed to consciously explore the whole or "Cause" of it all.

Because the task is daunting, a GPS and help from those on the path, are helpful for your journey. A spiritual GPS works like this:

Every day... have a plan for your spiritual to-do list.

At the end of the day... introspect about how you did.

What will you do to improve?

The reason for the success is that hypnotherapy engages the brain in ever new creative visualization and imagination in a relaxed setting. With Easter approaching it's time for family get togethers.

With vaccines more prevalent, families may gather more "in-person".

This means...plenty of opportunity for a potent mix...

While I am not the moral police, I have suffered from Foot In Mouth Syndrome through my life and willingly share what I’ve learned.

Learning to play well with others is an old and important kindergarten lesson.

Each person has experienced 2020-2021 in their own unique way. A year of people experiencing intense emotions are just waiting for a chance to be heard " in-person".

This will require dusting off those socializing skills and keeping your feet firmly on the floor.

To ensure your family reunion is more joy and less pain, prepare the groundwork with these 3 situational tips to avoid "Foot in Mouth Syndrome".

So you want to have a social gathering for Easter. You have some relatives that are anti-maskers and some that wear two masks outdoors while vaccinated.

The first thing - realize it is a sensitive topic for everyone. If you have a one size fits all attitude in your invitation, expect to have a one sided group of attendee's. If you are looking to unite your family of differing opinions, at least acknowledge in your invite that you respect that there are differences of opinions.

Expect some conflict and some difficult discussions. If you are not prepared, you may experience emotions that cause you to react before thinking and thus, "put your foot in your mouth".

Many of these conversations will take place over social media...

Social Media, texting, e-mail is as fast & easy to send off as a click of the finger. It can be a record of your favorite moments or your most unstable ones. It is easy to post in an emotional state – stop & think – Will this make me part of the problem or part of the solution? Emotional posting is similar to drunk posting, ask - will you regret this in the morning?

What if you lost control of your reactions and digitally posted crazily?

Let the shame go and do better next time. An apology is always appreciated by others and is better sooner than later. Embarrassment and shame is not healthy. When you know better, do better.

3. Ask yourself, "Will this help unite us as a family or divide us", "Will this offer a solution or create a larger problem?" If you are not sure, walk away, think about it or give it a night.

4. Press send.

Not every "wrong" post requires corrective commentary.

Some have not mastered posting restraint. Have mercy on yourself and others. Have you ever said or posted anything you regret and wish to have it forgotten or forgiven?

Extend the same to others - especially from family who you would like to retain some semblance of connection.

Our families gatherings are the perfect playground to learn to play well with others and yet... often these gathering seem to be the place we express the least restraint and the most dysfunctional interactions. We may be more socially polite with friends or

strangers than family.

Once everyone goes their separate ways, what will they remember or talk about? The good food and company? Or who said what to Aunt Mary.

Scenario #2: You are in a "discussion" at the family gathering and KNOW you are right.

Method: Virtual or In-person gathering

One of the top causes of “Foot in Mouth Syndrome” is the need to prove you are right.

You know you are right. Every one of the facts prove it. And you won’t stop until someone acknowledges your rightness.

Righteousness for righteous sake is no reason to blurt words all over someone else.

Almost everyone knows NOT to bring up certain subjects at a family gathering. And yet it just seems to happen. I have put my foot in my mouth at family gatherings so many times that I’m surprised people don’t think my foot is one of my teeth.

Note: You are allowed to protect yourself physically, emotionally & spiritually as a human right.

With that said, here are some tips for boundaries with family about "hot topics" .

Determine your "hot topic" lines and let family know where discussion lines are in a non confrontational way BEFORE beginning conversation. Example: I am letting you know that I am sensitive about discussions about politics. I prefer not to discuss this topic with you.

Have and communicate a predetermined result for when the boundary has been reached. Example: Should these topics arise, I will walk away as a reminder to you that I am feeling uncomfortable. Should you pursue me and try to continue the conversation, I will leave.

Follow through. If the boundary is crossed, follow through with your pre planned action. Try again another time with the same warning.

*If your boundaries are continuously crossed then you may need to reassess your boundaries with wider and larger consequences

Y OU may have cured your own “foot in mouth syndrome” but you can’t cure theirs.

You can only heal yourself, however you MAY inspire others by keeping your cool and modeling healthy actions and behaviors.

Others may notice and appreciate how you manage relations with people who see things differently. And who knows, in an atmosphere where boundaries have been established and space for peaceful exchange has been designed, an atmosphere has been created for future growth and understanding.

Foot in mouth syndrome isn't about NOT standing for your beliefs or safety, its about knowing...

when to say it and when to zip it.

Spring Clean, Remodel

& Redecorate Your Mind

Every day is a new spring day to start fresh thinking.

Clear out the clutter and start fresh!

Do you sometimes ungracefully trip on unexpected emotions with family, co-workers, or friends and wonder, “Where did that come from?” or “What was I thinking?”

Imagine your subconscious mind as an inner space holding your childhood room...

First- sort through your upbringing… Think back to your upbringing and authority guidance and assess what was helpful and what was not. Some things were modeled through actions and not enforced as rules. Regardless, the image of what you experienced remains as pictures on the walls of your mind whether YOU hung them or not.

Journal:

Helpful things I want to keep pile
Throw away pile
Repurpose, recycle, or improve pile

Next - it’s time to clean!

How? In a relaxed state, brought on by at least 10 deep inhales and exhales, visualize and dialog addressing the pain monster or illness in your body. Give it a name or a symbol. If you have difficulty relaxing, calming and focusing your mind, this is another area hypnotherapy is helpful.

Art Therapy: Draw a bubble or stick version of your body and choose a color that reflects the pain. Color the area where the pain resides. Then draw a line path with that color where it leaves leaves the body. Draw next to your body an image of what that pain looks like as a symbol or pain monster. Name it.

J ournal: Write a letter to your "monster pain". Write... "I know you are here for a reason. Something happened I have been ignoring. How long have you been here? What caused you to show up in the first place? How did you get so big and powerful in my body? What do you need to feel better? If I give that to you, will you leave with the agreement that if I forget, you can remind me again with a little nudge of hurt?"

Recolor your hurt body area a happy color and your little "monster pain" a happy color.

Answer these questions:

Time to redecorate!
Choose imagery and words that reflect the new you! Surround yourself with material possessions, work, play, sensory stimuli, and people that adhere to your own “house rules” helping to inspire and support your life and beliefs .

Maintenance
Finally, once cleaned, remodeled, and redecorated, you need to maintain your inner room and the body and spirit that contain it...

Visual and verbal tools:

Cancel/Cancel: When an old dust bunny comes back to irritate you, say, “Cancel/Cancel" and replace the old thought with a new empowering affirmations and suggestions supporting new beliefs.

Visualize: Spray old emotional memories, habits or urges with an imaginary can of disinfectant and see it disappear. Look around in your mind at the new room and see the new you. Affirm the happy, clean, new you with your

"I am________".

What is the first step to starting sessions?

E-mail and set a day & time to talk about customizing sessions.

When talking on the phone, I will ask questions regarding diagnosis. All questions will be to discover the details to empower the most helpful and desired thoughts for each unique journey. Privacy will be protected by adherence to HIPAA procedures.

Three Steps to Happy Healthy Love

Love is the highest vibrational feeling.

Most sought, is romantic love.

But seeking to receive love is the last step of creating healthy happy love in your life. Doing the seeking before the other 2 steps often brings disappointment in the quality or amount of love in your life. We desire an enduring powerful non selfish all accepting love. And what we receive is far short of that. So let’s start at the beginning…

Step 1…Loving yourself first...

The Law of Love Correspondence: The quality & quantity of the love you receive corresponds to the quality & quantity of love in your subconscious thoughts & feelings about yourself.

I often hear people saying about a past relationship, 'I gave every bit I had until I was empty.' That is true, because your own self-love was limited, you drew to yourself someone else with low self love. In trying to fill them up, you emptied yourself.

When 2 people full of self-love, respect and esteem connect, love never runs empty.

The poem below is often read in terms of a relationship. But read it anew applying it to yourself...

Self-esteem is built daily in your thought’s words and actions. You love or disdain yourself through thoughts & actions in mind, body, or spirit. Self esteem is built not through mechanically saying affirmations of self-love, but also backing them up with the actions.

People often are better at how they showing love to others than themselves even though they run dry. Take for instance a baby. In nurturing an infant shows great care in choosing nutrients and quality food. Time is taken to tenderly administer nutrition from pre-natal vitamins, to breastmilk, organic baby food, to beautifully made lunches with messages of love…

And how do you treat your own body with love nutritionally? Do you baby it, nurture, feed it with loving care, administer love to yourself with tenderness and attention? Do you repeat loving messages to yourself before a meal? Think of how you nourish the mind, body, and spirit of a child. wouldn't you do a better job of it if you knew how to do so by practicing on yourself first? Imagine the wisdom and power you could pass on to others if you taught from a place of experience.

How do you feel when you read words of loving yourself deeply and fully?
If you feel uncomfortable and selfish you may have some work to do on loving yourself.

The second step...Send love out...

Love is not determined by social norms. You can love nature, people, children, family, God, social causes, the arts… and you can send it out through prayer, random acts of kindness, volunteering, gift giving, touch, words, creating, serving, healing, teaching, parenting…why put limits on love when it is the most important thing you can do in your life.

Experience love wherever and whenever you can!

Time expectations also cannot be applied to love – love of nature can be felt by watching a sunset …over a lifelong family relationship with a sibling, a 1 month friendship, or a 30-year marriage.

Applying time requirements, ritual expectations to the worthiness of love limits how much love

you can experience.

Loving your own circle of friends and family is easy, but the greatest love is to grow your love bubble to encompass an ever-growing array of life. Send love to strangers in faraway places.

When you love yourself completely, you have enough love to share with people near or far, difficult or easy, and strangers or the hardest family members to get a long with.

3 ^rd step… receiving love with an open heart…

Once you love yourself and others, by Law of Love Correspondence, you will draw high quality

love in return.

The trick is accepting it without judgement. Every relationship is an agreement between 2 people learning from each other what needs to improve within themselves by what is instigated, triggered, or encountered. Whether, friend, lover, sister, employer, or spouse - the counter to you in any encounter serves as a mirror to reflect who you are and what you need to improve in yourself.

You cannot accept the fun aspects of a relationship without also accepting the lessons gained by the encounter. You were magnetically drawn to each other for a purpose of growth. Look in the mirror and love what looks back to you in the encounter as much as you have learned to love yourself.

Therefore, once in a relationship try not to “should” all over people. What YOU believe people “should” do is a judgement and not necessarily true.

When you feel a "should judgement" rising within... Regardless of whether someone "should have" done or said something, rid yourself of annoyance or animosity, forgive and move on. Whatever they did or not did not do was a gift sent to you to learn from.

You cannot control the actions of others, but you can control your own thoughts & actions.

That brings us to the mediation/hypnotherapy home practice

for this blog.

It begins with a common tools to relax your body. When you are relaxed you will be asked to visualize and repeat aloud suggestions for love and compassion within yourself and for others. A count out will finish the session in which you can end gently at any time by counting up from 1 to 5.

Be sure not to listen to while operating machinery or sitting in a rolling chair. Listen daily in a comfortable upright position with your spine straight and chin level with the ground for 18 minutes.
